Bristle Rake Fan
I often paint trees and waves as a part of my scenery paintings. While painting, I conceived that some steps to paint would be easier and more to my liking, if I could have a cross between a rake and a fan brush, but make a few changes to both. Synthetic bristle was chosen for its spring and durability. This rake fan is excellent for evergreens and other foliage (such as palm trees). It is also a great brush for painting ocean and lake waves. Working with Loew-Cornell, the result was this new Bristle Rake Fan, Series 246 - sizes 0, 1, 2 and 4. Sizes #0 and #1, ideal for miniature work
