- Esa's 3-D Texture Powder
Ideal for making a flat painting surface 3-dimensional, also called "raised" or "textured". Esa's 3-D Texture Powder is easy to use. Using a palette knife, mix approximately equal amoung of texture powder and acrylic paint (acrylic paint is a binding agent). Any colour will do. If desired a thicker density (for bolders, grounds and mountain tops), add more powder. For a smoother effect use less powder (for beach or side of tree trunks). Apply with a palette knife on the surface.
If you are not sure of the exact placement of the area to be raised (such as
ground area or rocks), trace the area first, before applying "the dough" there.
Allow to dry for 24 hours or when it is completely dry. Thick ground areas are
usually dry the next day and thin areas dry in a couple of hours. It depends on
the circumstances.
If "the dough" is too thick to mix, add a tad water or water mist to make
mixing easier.
You can use Esa's 3-D Texture powder on many different
surfaces, such as canvas, metal, wood and slate, just to name few.
